Welcome to Vancouver House of Osteopathy :)
My name is Marine, I am an osteopathic practitioner with over ten years of experience, I obtained my diploma in 2009 after 5 years of full time training in France.
I am passionate about helping others optimize their health and improve their quality of life by facilitating and supporting the body's ability to heal itself and by encouraging mindful movement. Osteopathy is a powerful tool to help awaken body awareness ; my hands are listening to you.
If my role as an osteopathic practitioner is to restore movement and allow the balance of the body, it is also important for me to help others to be masters of movement in their lives thanks to the postures and techniques of conscious breathing that I learned during my yoga teacher training in 2020.
I believe in the multidisciplinary approach to better support health, which is why I had my personal practice for twelve years in Quebec alongside physiotherapists, massage therapists and acupuncturists. This allowed me to have a very varied clientele and gave me the chance to see families grow over the years.
To better support you on the path to well-being, I travel around the world to take trainings : anatomy (dissection at Mc Gill), osteopathy and neurosciences, visceral and cranial osteopathy, perinatal care and pediatric osteopathy, osteopathic approach to women's health, hormonal health and fertility, nutrition, somato-emotional osteopathy, thaï yoga massage, yoga trainings...
I fell in love with Canada when I moved to Quebec, but since traveling to British Columbia, I knew right away that I wanted to settle here. I love yoga, dancing, hiking, sailing, horseback riding, ... Vancouver is a beautiful city with nature at your fingertips.
Looking forward to meeting you :)
