Introduced to meditation, yoga and Ayurveda in the early 1980s, Julie Corbeil is a pioneer of Ayurveda in Quebec. Instructed in Ayurveda by Dr. Desai, she studied (Canada, USA, India) with several including Dr. V. Lad and Dr. Chopra, S. Shresta, Svoboda, Mishra, and Gupta. She worked in the first Ayurvedic health centers in Canada (ON, 1987) and directed the first Ayurvedic clinic in Quebec (Montreal, 1990). Her interest in human well-being led her to study consciousness and Ayurveda, among other things. She gives interviews and conferences, writes articles, offers consultations, workshops and teaches Vedic Meditation.
