Welcome to Imperium Massage Therapy.

My name is Michael Locquiao, I'm the owner and a Registered massage therapist in Montreal, Quebec. 

I use multiple techniques to tend to your needs and these techniques can be combined in a session.

Mixed swedish relaxation massage:

A combination of full handed, forearm and elbow techniques that will flow through your body and mind. Using a hypoallergenic gel, I will go from the origin of the muscle to it's insertion. The entirety of the muscle will be stimulated and relaxed. 

For who?

relaxation, calms anxiety, helps with general stiffness and soreness.

Deep tissue massage and fasciatherapy:

type of massage that does not involve any oil or gel. These techniques are done using thumbs, fists, forearm and elbows. Like it says in it's name, it reaches muscles that are under the first layers of muscle on your body. It will loosen up and target areas that isn't touched with a regular massage.

For who?

athletes, office workers (people that sit all day), barbers, jobs with repetitive movements, students

Cupping therapy/ massage:

Involves the use of silicone succion cups of different sizes for targeted treatments. Can be used with or without massage gel depending on your needs. Cupping therapy  loosens tight fascia, increases blood flow at the area, breaks down adherences on the muscles and helps with your range of motion.

For who?

athletes, students, office workers, barbers, jobs with repetitive movements.

I'm currently a paramedic (part-time) in Montreal and Laval which exposed me to many situations whether it's medical, traumatic or social issues. I find that with massage therapy I can offer more than just emergency/ critical care or referrals to the healthcare system. I offer a calm space, where I'll find ways to get rid of the accumulated stress on your body and mind ( muscle knots/tensions), help your body regenerate from a tough training or a long week of work. 

At home services offered as well and I provide insurance receipts for massage treatments.

I strive to give my patients the best quality care and service in a judgement- free zone.
